Early Career Dialogues (ECD) is a panel discussion series that is sponsored by School of Science's Science Quality of Life Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). This series is organized for the professional, intellectual and personal wellness of Early Career Scientists. This discussion series occurring in Spring 2019 primarily targets an MIT audience comprising senior Ph.D. Students, Postdoctoral Associates/Fellows, Research Scientists and other MIT affiliates who are trying to decide their next steps in life and career.
Through this panel discussion series, we hope to catalyze conversations between expert panelists (professionals from the science, technology and medicine realms) and early career scientists at MIT on their choice of scientific problems and career paths. We hope that these conversations will touch upon personal stories, struggles and achievements that have guided career trajectories.
